One month.
It took us just a couple of weeks to gather 9 schools and get together 60 dancers to come together for a seamless afternoon of 2.5 hours of non-stop classical dancing, each vying for class, perfection, and beauty.
We fundraised for Ekam USA a grand sum of $1115 (after expenses, and mainly towards hall rental) and it was a grand success considering the time it took to start gathering folks to the nominal charge for attendance and participation.
Unfortunately, we were unable to get pictures of participants and performances but the video exists. Here are a couple with my daughters – Kaavya and Sumi. The event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of dear friends and young ones who spent time and pitched in with tickets and music.

It was a great official start to our Tandavam Events and to be able to contribute to a worthy cause.
